About Department

Department of Electronics and Communication intends to impart quality degree programmes. These programmes emphasize on fundamental principles to create technological excellence and exceptional ability in the students and to inculcate in them professional, social and ethical values. The undergraduate programme of the department is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The department is running one undergraduate programme – B.E. in Electronics and Communication, and one post graduate programme – M.E. in Embedded System and VLSI Design. Department is equipped with modern and sophisticated laboratories and is served by qualified and experienced faculty members. Several faculty members are pursuing higher qualifications.

Working environment of department is cohesive and congenial. There is good interaction among students, faculty, and staff and nearby local industries. After securing high percentile in GATE, GRE and CAT, alumni of department have pursued M. Tech. & Ph.D. from reputed institutions such as IIT’s, NIT’s, top B-Schools and foreign universities. Most of the students are placed in national and multinational companies and organizations of repute. Result of students has been very good all through

 Program Educational Objectives 

1. To develop the ability among students to understand the concepts of applied mathematics, science, electronics & communication engineering with an attitude for lifelong learning.

2. To train the students with good scientific and engineering breadth, for analyzing, designing and synthesizing system for real life problems. 

3. To inculcate in student communication skills, professional skills, teamwork skills and leadership qualities, which addresses issues related to society in a responsive, ethical, and innovative manner.


 Program Outcomes 

1. apply  knowledge of Mathematics, Science and Electronics engineering.

2. an ability to design electronics circuits and conduct experiments with electronic systems, analyze and interpret data.
